Being the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta holds the pressure as the center of attention. Multi-national companies choose to reside in the city to make it easier for mobility. However, as the time goes by Jakarta is becoming full and crowded. But that doesn’t seem to lessen the desire of living in Jakarta. Being the heart of Indonesia, Jakarta is the place where people from regions come, live, and work here. It’s right to say that Jakarta is a diverse city, full of colors.
The city has grown so much from the past ten years. Be it infrastructure or else, Jakarta indeed has improved the transportation sector. With the current project of Monorail Train hoped to decrease the traffic jam that has always been the problem of our beloved Jakarta. Put that aside, the MICE industry is also well developed. Hotels and convention center has stood tall in every strategic corner. This gives organizer a lot of options to choose, from hotel ballrooms to convention hall, from the cheapest hotel to the most expensive, indoor or outdoor. To put it simple, you can hold a wide range of events here in Jakarta.
Last August 2016, the 12th World Islamic Economic Forum took place in Jakarta Convention Center, it uses the whole venue and attended by about 4000 people from across the world. Opened by Mr. Joko Widodo and 12 world leaders, the conference gave great contributions to business actors, academia. With proper planning and execution, this big event can be done smoothly.
